Evidence and sourcing
Factual claims link to primary sources where available. Data analyses identify the source, observation period, units, retrieval date, and relevant release vintage. We preserve source evidence and a reproducible calculation record for material findings.
Scope and uncertainty
Coverage, exclusions, missing values, revisions, and denominator limits are stated where they affect interpretation. Administrative records are not treated as proof of clinical access, quality, causation, or individual outcomes. Headlines are limited to what the source measures.
Reproducibility
Published methods explain how figures were calculated. Preserved source snapshots are checksum-verified, and analysis is separated from data acquisition so a rerun does not silently replace the cited source vintage.
Editorial and commercial separation
Products and commercial relationships do not determine editorial findings, methods, or conclusions. Advertising or sponsored material, if introduced, must be clearly labeled and visually distinct from independent reporting.
Corrections
Material factual errors are corrected transparently. See Corrections and updates for what to send and how changes are labeled.
